A date to remember
Chapter 1: The asking.
It was one beautiful sunny day and the clock had just gone to ten o'clock. Sonic's eyes peered open. He looked up at the ceiling for about five pointless minutes and then sat up and stretched.
Sonic: Hello.. Friday. Today is the day I get something off of my chest!
He sprung out of bed and whipped to the kitchen. He opened the cupboard and was humming the sonic heroes' theme song to himself. He pulled some cereal boxes out of the cupboard.
Sonic: What have I got in here? Lemme see. A month old box of cornflakes... that's a no, A box of shreddies and Cheerios.... What a great selection. I'll take the cheerios.
He took the box and poured the cereal into the bowl and added the milk. He ran to the living room and turned on MTV and sat on the sofa.
TV dude: Up next we have Freedom Writers with their song "What could it mean to you"
Sonic smiled
Sonic: 'bout time they showed our music on here. Defiantly better than all the other things in the charts.. What happened to rock people?!
When sonic was in the shower he was looking forward to meeting Amy. He wanted to ask her out and was not gonna let his mouth get tongue tied. He turned on the radio of which was water proof (Homer Simpson has one)
Dude on the radio: Ok we have them here and live! It's new found glory with their cover song Kiss me, originally by six pence none the richer!
Sonic: heh, convenient isn't it.
When Sonic was in the shower, his front door had a knock on it.
Amy: Sonic? Are you in?... Are you even up yet?
She heard Sonic randomly singing kiss me along with the radio and tried not to laugh. She sat herself down on the sofa and waited while looking at the bathroom door.
(If you're asking, I thought of Sonic's house as a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom down stairs and an attic upstairs. I say that he hangs around with his mates up there.)
Moments later sonic was brushing his teeth and looked in the mirror at himself. He winked at himself before going out the door.
Amy: Hi Sonic.
Sonic: Hold that thought!
He quickly ran to his room and out some clothes on, you know the trademark gloves shoes and socks.
Sonic: Amy, what are you doing here?
Amy: oh, I was bored and wanted to know if you were in at all...
Sonic: Oh, well actually I was gonna go to you and ask a question.
Amy: Sure, what is it?
Sonic's thoughts: Don't blow it hedgehog! Tell her that you want a date, play it casual, and don't muck it up! But I'm scarred! Shut up stupid side of the brain! I can do this! I can do this ..... what am I saying?
Amy: Uhh sonic? A-are you ok?
Sonic: Uh.. yeah, fine just wondering if you would... you know.. uh.. c-come with me...to... uh...
Amy: Come with you to where?
Sonic: Uhh
It was fatal. Sonic was making himself seem pretty weird and quite stupid at that point. Amy waved her hand in front of his face
Amy: Sonic.... Are you in there? You said you wanted to ask me something?
Sonic: yeah.. Uh.. Oh...
Amy: can't you remember?
Sonic: Uhh
Amy: Maybe you need some fresh air. Come on I'll take you out
Sonic: wouldyouliketogonadatewithme?!
He said so quickly that it sounded like one word.
Amy: can you repeat that? For a second there it sounded like you wanted a date
Sonic: yes that is correct... So whada'ya think?
Amy: Yes! I've been waiting for that for years!
Sonic: h-how 'bout tonight?! At... well I'll take you on a  surprise night
Amy: sounds fun! I'd love to go! Pick me up at 7:00! I've gotta get ready!
She ran out and sonic jumped up on the couch and started jumping
Sonic: Oh yeah! I've got it! It's my birthday! It's my birthday.. well no it's not but.. WOOO!
