Sonic and demons

It was one dark morning and the fighters had just gotten back from the abandoned city. They weren't able to find any plans to undo roboticizeation, but they did find something. Cyrus held a pendant.
Tails: What do you think it is?
Sonic: I don't know, looks cool though.
Sonia: Looks good as a necklace.
Tails: Are you sure about that?
Sonic put it around his neck.
Sonic: Whadaya think?
Manic: Lovely.
They laughed.
Cyrus: Don't muck around with it. You don't know where it's been or what it is.
Sonic: Cyrus, it could have been something like an old piece of jewelry that came from the jewelers. Don't forget the city is abandoned.
Cyrus: Just be careful okay?
Knuckles: The day Sonic is careful will be the day that the end of the world happens.
Sonic: Very funny. I can be careful.
Amy: Being careful mean you have to be slow.
Sonic: I am not careful.
Amy: Point proven.
Cyrus: Okay, I'm gonna get back to base and check at what we're looking for.
All: Bye.
Sonic: You guys wanna stay around here?
Manic: Will that bother you?
Sonic: No. That's why I asked.
Manic: Sure.
Tails: I'll stay.
Cream: Can I stay?
Sonic: Sure, do you wanna ask Vanilla first?
Cream: Yes.
Sonic: I'll take you to the phone.
Rouge: I wonder what that thing sold for; it doesn't even have a gem in it.
Knuckles: so if I got you a necklace that didn't have a gem in it, you wouldn't want it?
Rouge: Well, that depends. What colour is the necklace?
Knuckles: I didn't say I actually got you one… I was just using an example.
Amy: This does look quite odd though. No wonder we picked it up.
Sonic: Cream can stay.
He said coming back into the living room.
Sonia: Sonic, why exactly did you pick this up?
Sonic: It looked different in the city. You know, like I had seen it before.
Cream: Strange…
That night when they were asleep, the pendant glowed. Goo came out of it and slid around the room. It was seeking its predator and was hunting. It slid to Cream's hand and it went in her. She woke up and then her eyes went red. She stood up and went to the kitchen.
Latter on in the night, Sonic felt something sharp touch his neck. He opened his eyes and saw Cream with a knife in her hands looking viciously at him.
Sonic: Cream… what are you doing?
Cream: Cream is no longer… I will take you to my master…
The knife glowed an eerie red colour and it pinched hard. Sonic kicked the person on the floor below him.
Manic said one thing.
Manic: Ow! Bro, keep your feet to yourself.
Sonic: Manic!
He looked up and saw Cream.
Manic: Holy shit!
Sonic: Help me!
Manic screamed and woke up the others.
Rouge: Oh my word!
Sonic: Cream, put down the knife! Drop it! Drop it!
Sonic didn't want to hurt Cream, nor did he want to get killed. He remembered and attack that was harmless and he did it. He got Cream's arms and pushed them down. She fell down from the force and Sonic backed away.
Sonia: Call for help! She's not down!
She came back to attack Sonic and he didn't know what to do.
Knuckles: She's turned into a demon!
Tails: Cream! Snap out of it!
Sonic: We're going to have to get her to the base for testing!
Sonia: Maybe no one heard me! Call for help!
Amy ran to the phone and dialed the resistances number.
Cyrus: Hello?
Amy: Cyrus! Help us! We're being attacked by a six year old demon! Call the paranormal team on it now!
Cyrus: Where are you?!
Amy: Sonic's house. Cream has got a knife and she has red eyes and she is trying to kill Sonic! Help us!
Cyrus: We'll be there!
In the waiting process that all tired to stop Cream, they were trying to pull her away from Sonic with out hurting her.
Sonic: What did I do so wrong?! Why is it only me?!
Manic: How are we supposed to know!
Tails: Push her down.
Sonic: No, that could hurt her!
Knuckles: Do we have a choice?!
Sonic: I hate it when you're right!
He pushed her down and then the door burst open. They Cyrus came in and shouted.
Cyrus: I got a call to help a demon six year old?!
Sonic: Take her!
Amy: Let me help you!
When they were in the base, they had Cream in a container.
Sonic: I don't understand why she would do that… I'm really sorry something happened to her while she was with us Vanilla.
Vanilla: It wasn't your fault. You didn't know it was going to happen.
Amy: I'm afraid to be alone now!
Sonic: You can stay with us.
Cyrus: We can all stay together… This is so abnormal.
Sonic: Really? Well, I hadn't noticed until a six year old sweet girl had a knife and was holding at my throat!
Cyrus: calm down! We can solve this!
Sonic: Just make sure she's okay.
Tails: We'll free you Cream.
Cyrus: You guys head home, we'll sort this.


They all trailed home and went back to sleep. The next morning, when they woke up, Tails noticed something really odd.
Tails: Has anyone noticed that Sonic isn't moving?
Manic: He's not… dead is he?
Amy prodded Sonic's leg and it twitched.
Amy: Sonic, are you okay?
Sonic: What's going on?
Sonia: We thought you were dead!
Sonic: No… I am simply recovering from the fact I woke to a knife at my throat.
Tails: One moment, she's fine… the next she's a demon!
Rouge: I wonder what caused that…
Sonic: There was one demon attack here in the past. They said that they left a precious pendant here that caused them to come.
Amy: Did they survive?
Sonic Yeah, they were fine. They had to get this thing out of the person as it seeped into them at night.
Tails: I'm scared!
Sonic: Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you.


Through out the day, they all sat there pondering. They had no idea what ha happened and it was freaking them out. They weren't exactly sure of what to do.
When night came, they tried to keep their guard up. The same thing came out of the pendant and it seeped around the living room like a snake. It was silent and was red. It went into two people this time. Knuckles got it and so did Tails.
Rouge felt Knuckles moving and held him still.
Rouge: Knuckles… quit it.
She opened her eyes and saw Knuckles eyes were red.
She screamed and everyone woke.
Rouge: The demons got knuckles! The demons got knuckles!
They all backed up and Sonic pushed Tails back to protect him.
Sonic felt something hit his over the head and he fell down.
Amy: Sonic! Tails! The demons got Tails!
They all tried to push them back and it was clear that they wanted Sonic dead. They were charging at him and were trying to push him down. Sonic wasn't having it.
He pushed them both down and then he grabbed the others that weren't demons and hid upstairs.
Rouge: Knuckles!
Sonic: We'll do something!
Manic: Where are these things coming from?
Sonic: I don't know!
Amy: I scared now! So truly very scared!
Sonia: I wonder if it's the pendant doing this?!
Manic: Sis, don't even try it!
Sonia: If we break the pendant, we can break the spell.
She jumped down the attic hatch and ran for the pendant. She grabbed it and then fell to the floor. She got covered by the goo and then turned demon.
Amy, Manic, sonic and Rouge: Ahh!
They closed the door and held still.
Amy: I wanna go home!
Sonic: Good idea!
Amy: What are you saying?
Sonic: If I lock up this place, we can run to your house and wait for the resistance to come and sort these people out. We should be safer there.
Amy: I like it.
Manic: Let's go.
They all ran to Amy's house and when they got there, they realized that they left the pendant behind.
Rouge: If any one touches it, they're gone…
Sonic: Maybe I should confront this demon guy controlling you…
Amy: We'll wait till morning… It should have cooled down a bit by then.

During that night, the ooze came through the door and Manic woke up to see this. He was covered in it and managed to shout
Manic: Guys!
They all got up and saw him get covered.
Rouge jumped out of the way and she was covered. Sonic was unable to escape. He grabbed May and they ran upstairs.
Amy: What do we do?!
Sonic: I don't know!
Amy: Return the pendent! They may not kill you then!
Sonic: Good idea.
Amy: Ahh!
She pointed at the slime and it got Amy. Sonic quickly ran and then ran to his house. He kicked down the door and avoided the demons who were his friends. He grabbed the pendant and high tailed it out of there. He was speeding with all of his might to escape. He got to the city and then he saw all of his friends trying to kill him. It was about 1000 to 1. He sped to the place where he found the pendant and dropped it down. His friends were still charging him. He was now on the floor and was trying to squeeze under a crack in the building. He was halfway under and then stuck.
Sonic: No! Help! I don't wanna be eaten! Shit!
The others suddenly realized what was going on and snapped out of it. The spell had worn off.
Shadow: Where are we?
Amy: Sonic did it… He returned the pendant. He saved us.
Manic: That him there?
Sonic: Somebody help me!
Silver grabbed his legs and pulled him.
Sonic: Let me go!
Allena: I don't think he knows we're back yet.
Knuckles: Sonic, cool it! We're back to normal!
Sonic: How can I trust that?
Blaze: Because we can talk.
Sonic: I didn't think of that.
Jet: How did you get under there?
Sonic: You all came at me. You were about to kill me and this was my escape.
Shadow: You're stuck, aren't you?
Sonic: No… I'm just… yeah, I'm stuck.
E-123 omega: Let me be at some assistance.
He held Sonic's leg and he pulled him out.
Sonic: Ow! Thank you.
Sonia: Let's get out of here!
Sonic: Agreed!
They all ran away from the city. As they left…. The pendant glowed.
