The fighters and Eggman all backed away from the eerie glow.
Tails: Maybe I was wrong about us not being haunted!
Daniel: How do we know it's not an illusion?
The Oracle appeared.
Daniel: See.
They all sighed with relief. Sonic's spirit sat on the floor.
Sonic: Why are they scared of me!? And more importantly, why's the Oracle wreak it!?
Sonic looked at his book bag and saw his medallion. He could pick it up as it was a power source.
He waved it around, but Sonic had a better idea. He put it in Amy's bag.
When she got home, she sighed hugely and wiped the tears from her eyes.
She emptied her bag and saw Sonic's medallion fall out.
Amy: How did? I'm thinking odd. He must have given it to me to keep in safe hands…. He's gone now Amy… live with it… I can't!
She broke down in tears and fell on the sofa.
Amy: Why'd you have to go!?
Sonic: I didn't want to go… I want to be with you…
Amy: Why is it so cold in here?!
She felt a breeze next to her and both Sonic and Amy stretched out their arms to each other and felt some feeling.
Amy retracted her arm and looked down at the floor.
Amy: I'm going crazy!

The next day Sonic kept an eye on her and saw she wasn't eating. She was too upset. Sonic didn't want to see her like this and made a grape float in front of her. She grabbed it and munched on it.
Amy: Food can't fill me any more… I feel heart broken.
Sonic: I miss you!
He shouted. He wanted to hug her better and give her food. He wanted to see her smile. He was jumping about in front of her and couldn't do anything. He soon went back to the hall way and heard Tails in his room. He was talking in disbelief to himself and was looking at the mirror. Looking at the state he was becoming. He could feel tears roll down his face.
Sonic stood next to him and Tails looked at the mirror in disbelief. He could see Sonic.
Tails: I've lost it!
Sonic stood behind him and then spoke. He knew tails could lip read. He said.
Sonic: I'm alive… Just a spirit for a while. Get the others.
Tails ran to the others and shouted Sonic's alive!
He dragged them all to his room and they could just about see Sonic in the mirror.
All: Oh my god!
Amy: I'm loosing it!
Knuckles: We can see it too Amy.
Sonic: Please! Try to hear me!
Sonic was begging for them to hear him. He needed to warn them about his body and how they can't get rid of it.
Allena: Sonic? Can he hear us?

They couldn't understand what he was saying as he was speaking too fast to try to get all the info out. He suddenly disappeared from the mirror.
Big: Was that me or…
Antoine: It is a curse!
Bunnie: How do yall know this?
Rotor: This is really odd… We can't all see that same ghost… can we?
Elise: Maybe it's him trying to say goodbye…
When Sonic re-appeared, he was in the same room as his dead body.
He felt quite faint and knew this meant that even his ghost body needed rest. He laid on his body and sank in. He laid still.
When his spirit was asleep, the fighters had a check to see whether he was alive or whether it was a good bye.
Trixie gave him an over all examination and got nothing.
Sally: Was it our imagination or was it real?
Blaze: I'll tell you one thing… eyes.
Trixie: They've closed…. How is that?
Cyrus: I don't think we should touch the body… There is something clearly going on with this and I think it's happening at Ironic timings. Somebody stay in here for a while and let us know what's going on.
Trixie: I'll stay, if he is coming to life, I'd know what to do as I am a doctor.

When Trixie was playing around with a magazine, she every now and then looked at Sonic. When she turned around one time, she was scarred stiff. Sonic opened his eyes sharply and they stared at nothing but the ceiling. He wasn't moving. Trixie felt sick to think whether Sonic was a zombie. She poked his body and nothing. She then saw Sonic's spirit rise from his body and stretch.
Trixie: Oh… m-my….
Sonic: I feel SO much better than I did yester day. Maybe ghosts need sleep, who knew. He looked at Trixie's expression. She was staring dead at him and was shaking.
Sonic: Trix? What's wrong? Wait? Can you hear me?
Trixie: Oh my god! Ghost! Guys!
She ran out of the room and came back seconds later, she had the fighters with her and they froze.
Amy: Sonic?!
Sonic: I need answers and I need them now. Can you, or can you not hear me?
He floated over to his brother. He froze.
Sonic: Hello?????????????! Can you hear me?!
Manic: Y-yes…
Sonic: Finally!
Manic: R-un!
They all ran and Sonic looked down at the floor
Sonic: This is gonna be hard.
When they were done running and were hiding. Sonic was upset that all of his friends were scarred.
Sonic: I guess they think I'm here to haunt them… I'll have to prove them wrong..
He went to find them. He saved his voice and didn't bother shouting where are you. He looked at a quivering figure and recognized it. It was Amy. He got an apple from the table and held it out to her.
Sonic: Ames… Please eat again…I can't stand to see you like this….
She turned around and saw him.
Rouge: It's a trap!
Sonic sat on the floor and did what you do to surrender.
Sonic: I mean no harm to any of you. I know it's weird to see a person as a ghost… But I'll come back when my power restores. I'm immortal… Not a killer.
Amy took the apple from his hand.
Amy: I am a bit hungry.
She ate it in seconds.

Sonic: Yeah… in a few days time you'll be able to do that.

Sonic: That's right. I kinda forgot to tell you… I have to get a full power charge. By the way. That person talking to you Sonia, was me. Tails, that was me in the mirror. Eggman, yes I haunted you. Amy, yes, I fed you a grape and I was there… I was always there….
Manic: So you've been floating around us all this time?
Sonic: As I mentioned. When I was around you, my body's eyes were open. When I was resting. My eyes were shut.
Knuckles: I get it!
Wave: That's one odd story…
Sonic: Oh, also that singing you heard… That was me too. I wanted to see whether any one could hear me. I was gonna try to tell you. Don't dispose of my body or even bury me. I will come back!
Storm: That's close warning. See we were gonna burry you, as we were worried that you were gonna haunt us.
Sonic: I understand that.

They were all still confused at the fact their friend was a ghost. Sonic was still fascinated that he could walk through stuff.
He suddenly felt very odd.
Sonic: Whoa…. Why do I hurt all over?
Sonia: Ghosts don't hurt though, do they?
Sonic: They don't! I might be coming back soon! Listen, all of you. If I am not up in four days… You have truly lost me as all my powers are gone.

In about five days time, nothing had happened. They were all worried now. They didn't want to hurt Sonic or burry him. They even waited till the 6th day and he still wasn't back up.
Shadow: We're gonna have to burry him. We can't let him rot here.
Manic: You're right….
Amy: Sonic….
The sadness came back to everyone. When Sonic was about to be put in, they made sure that they put him near the surface, just incase.
They all said their goodbyes.
Tails: Sonic was always a good and strong friend to all of us. He was always there if we were upset and we were always there for him. I would like to say a final thank you to my brother from another mother….
Knuckles patted Tails on the back and they soon all walked away.

The next day came and the hectic was back to base. It was awful. They were all upset and were regretting that they didn't say goodbye.
Sally: He'd usually come in by now and tell us something crazy that had happened to him…..
Tails: I miss him so much!
Amy: Sonikku!
They were all suddenly turned to…
Sonic: You never guess what I have been through!
They were startled but could see Sonic standing up with dirt all over him.

Manic: Yesterday was the 7th day you were down.
Sonic: Really? Thanks for burying me close to the surface. Thank god I'm out of there!
Allena grabbed a cloth and wiped his face down. She could feel him and soon squeezed him
Allena: Don't make me lose you again! Same to you Sonia and Manic!
they all hugged Sonic and Sonic had never felt more happy in his life. He smiled to see them again and all happy to see him.

Tails: Yo brother!

Sonic: Oh yeah. Now I can touch objects with out going through them, I wanted to do this through the past days.
Sonic bent Amy down and kissed her. The others laughed and cheered at the same time.
Amy: Oh… I never thought I'd feel that again!
Sonic: Man I love that. He lifted her back up and then put his arm around her.
Sonic: If I ever die again. Wait for my spirit to tell you what to do.
