Chapter 7: A safe hold
It was near the end of the third week and time was running out. They had one fire fly to get. They were so close now.
Amy: Sonic, do you think we'll make it?
Sonic: Hey, we're out in the open with no spare clothes, no proper food, not any clean water and a horse which we have to clean up after, we've gotta make it. A man's life is at stake!
Amy: We won't give up and we defiantly can't turn back now!
Thunder and lightning had yet again hit the skies. They hurried out of the forest's deep tree parts and into a circle near a small lake. Lighting suddenly struck a tree and it started falling
Both: Ahhhhh!
Sonic quickly pushed Amy out of the way but couldn't get a way himself. The tree fell and made a huge bang. Amy looked up and saw the tree crushing sonic. She screamed at the horror and ran to the tree. Sonic was in agonising pain as Amy did everything she could. She somehow found the strength in her to move the tree enough to move sonic out of the way. She grabbed sonic and listened for a heartbeat. She felt a hand stroke her face
Sonic: Amy, you saved me....
Amy: I had to; I couldn't bear to see you hurt!
Sonic: I'm ok.. Don't worry
He sat up and Amy fell to her knees to hug him. They held each over and soon started kissing one another. They felt safer in each over's arms. Like the arms were shields. The last fire fly came down and they saw it.
Sonic: That's it! We can make it!
Amy: let's go! Hurry!
